What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and keep you logged in.

Cookies we use

Nuzzle uses only functional cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Third-party cookies

Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies during the checkout process to prevent fraud. These are strictly necessary for payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Google may set cookies if you sign in with Google OAuth. These are part of the authentication flow only.

Do we need a cookie banner?

No. Under EU ePrivacy regulations, consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function. Since we only use functional cookies (session auth and theme preference), no consent banner is needed. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will add a consent mechanism before doing so.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in. Deleting the theme cookie will reset your display preference to the system default.
